After seeing how much our players enjoyed the Festival in a Box event that ran at the end of 2023, we've worked to expand and improve rewarding physical prizes for digital play so we can run these types of events more often and ship to more countries
A deck like Merfolk in Modern compares unfavorably to Humans on that metric, since its about as fast but with significantly less disruption, so unless Spreading Seas is incredibly well-positioned I dont see the point of playing Merfolk
On the flip side, theres very little application for Absorb outside of U/W Control
