FINE VIKING COIL RING 850-1050 AD, SIZE 9 1/2 14 3/4 well worn during its periodDelicately made in fine regular openwork coil. Gold over bronze. Three and 1 3 turns, size 9 1 2 Flat inside, the top of medium rounded section. Made by the lost wax process, coil beads, rings, and other adornment elements were very popular in Viking culture. Due to its age, resizing is not advised. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored, for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
