Already into the two-color decks, I didnt want to wait what seemed like forever to get the two-color gods, so I plunged forward-knowing at least that Id be building all my mono-colored decks from the Theros pantheon

But now my opponent blocks it with [c]Black Knight[/c], a card with protection from white

The Blade is the final one, an on-curve menace 3/1 2-drop that will count as +2/+2 when equipped onto your base 3/3 Durnan, as well as giving him menace, both of which are pretty nice

And while many were clamoring for the ban of Gran-Gran or to hit the Izzet Lessons deck in some way, it seems that the meta simply evolved to make that deck less dominant (Elementals and Reanimator are both strong against it)
