as found on the late 50's originals up to around 1962 (after this time they started to produce them with the retaining wire)

This replacement pickguard is made specifically for the Fender Pawn Shop 72 Guitar Made from black plastic with a very thin layer of simulated brushed silver on top

Please note that the threaded posts and body inserts are not included but can be purchased separately

The earliest Gibson Ripper basses (1973 1975) do not have pickup mounting holes. This pickguard will not fit an Epiphone manufactured instrument even it does have the Gibson name on the truss rod cover.
