This is a framed wreath made entirely of human hair that was likely made to commemorate and mourn a loved one past in the Victorian era. The wreath is incredibly detailed and highly decorative. It is housed in a wood frame and shadow box with a glass front. The wreath is in good condition. The frame is in fair condition, as the gilt gesso coating has begun to crumble and fall away. It
