Woven fajas/sashes Day of the Dead Both come from the sameWeaving from the Purepecha village of Cuanajo, near Patzcuaro, Michoacn. Fajas are woven on a backstrap loom and feature traditional designs that have been passed down from generation to generation. A faja is a sash or belt, and they can be made into a camera or guitar strap, or hung on the wall. Cotton, 54 inches long (excluding fringe), 2 1 4 inches wide.
