Publisher's blue boards with paper title labels lettered in green to the spine and upper board. With the unclipped dust jacket, edges of which are chipped and rubbed, most notably around the heads of the spine with old tape repair stain showing externally. Uncommon, especially in the striking dust jacket designed by David Snodgrass who also provides the frontispiece and six further illustrations in the text.
