The sweatband is stamped Genuine Fur Felt, a marking consistent with production from the Magill Hat Manufacturing Co. of Montreal, founded in 1895 this, however, could have been made by a different maker and the attribution is only speculative on my part. The retailer stamp reads Huttmans Dept. Store Edmunston, N. B. It would be
