Long Sault Rapids Paper:Matte Here is a starry nightThere are many stories of the famous Long Sault Rapids which no longer exist due to the St. Lawrence Seaway Project (Ontario, Canada). Never having seen the rapids myself, I can only imagine their beauty, which is exactly what I did with this drawing. After seeing a different Long Sault Rapids painting on the Canada Archives website I was inspired to make my interpretation of the epic rapids.
