There is a decal on the front that reads Hand Knitted by Hersey. I guess that this was probably used to pose a knitted hat and scarf, most likely in a store display window or on a counter. The piece is made of plaster and, from its general appearance and that of the decal, would most likely date to the 1930s or 40s. It measures 10 3 4 in height,
