Initially a flagship dress line in the 50s, Genves took a backseat in the 60s as Speedmasters Seamasters rose to fame. But Omega kept refining the collection, introducing affordability without compromising mechanical quality. By the 70s, they experimented with bolder shapes of the day, including this faceted square TV case in 20 micron gold plating and a dramatically boxed crystal.
