Then thread the material back through the crimp bead, creating a loop with the clasp hooked on it. Leave about 1 2" to 3 4" excess cording and squeeze the crimp bead with crimping pliers. Trim the excess wire. I have used these crimps with Beadalon's thick 49 strand . 024" wire. I love the fact that these are corrugated. They seem to hold the wire more firmly than smooth crimp
