C-Chair | Cane wood finish:Black stained oak With a desire to eradicateC Chair Cane by Marcel Gascoin for Gubi. The elegant C Chair designed in 1947 is one of Gascoign's most well known pieces. The chair was originally designed to fit into the new sizes of homes built in the post war years in France. Here Gascoin created a simple, functional piece of furniture to make up for the lack of space in these new homes. Other versions are available with an upholstered seat or fully upholstered.
